CYNICAL ABOUT VALENTINE. MUST BE SINGLE AND BROKE!

Males who are financially strapped are twice as likely to refer to women as "gold diggers" and other derogatory phrases. Contrarily, loaded men, unless they are particularly frugal, have little problem allocating a portion of their earnings to providing for the lovers in their lives in proportion to their income.
These people can afford to eat dinner and have a few drinks. Foot rent and other monthly expenses. Others don't have the money to periodically treat themselves to extraordinary things like a vacation in Seychelles, a dream machine, or the luxurious lifestyle she so desires. But not many ladies are so fortunate. To impress their lovers, some guys go above and beyond, sometimes even incurring greater debt. However, broke dudes are frequently cynical about love and relationships. Consider me for a second. I complain constantly as if life owes me an explanation.
Valentine's Day is thus upon us this Tuesday. It's that time of year when guys can never be excused for not giving their partners a thoughtful present, a nice supper, and a bottle of wine before going all out. Thankfully, it appears that everyone has recently worked out how to approach it. You'll hear more and more people criticize the day as being intended for the gullible and the weak-willed as their cynicism about it grows. The fact that many people who criticize Valentine are either single or financially strapped is an odd coincidence.
Men who are struggling financially will wax poetic about how expensive it is to satisfy a woman who lives in a big town. They would argue that it is useless to waste money on a woman who will ultimately be unappreciative of your efforts. It makes sense, I suppose.
Of course, the city won't be covered with red paint. Valentine's Day attire in red is typically met with very skeptical looks and, at best, is viewed as being naive or misinformed. At worst it is considered some kind of immaturity. yearning for a romance yet knowing it won't happen in 2023. Those who are single, recently broke up with someone, or have never experienced true love are the most skeptical.
But is it inappropriate to show your girlfriend affection on Valentine's Day? It is flawless in every way. In actuality, she deserves that more than anything. You need to search far and wide for something lovely and expensive for her. You might just have to do it once a year throughout that period. Women can occasionally ask for too much, but if one chooses the proper course and is supported by the right poetry, they may be willing to accept less. It's the thought that counts, as the saying goes.
The issue with guys is that they occasionally pursue distant women. They choose ladies who are barely able to meet their fundamental needs. One should cut their coat according to their cloth, according to modern thinking. I implore complaining guys to strive to pursue the ladies that are within their grasp. Making a loan to entertain a woman is reckless. It could be a little excessive to take out a bank loan for a wedding. It would be stupid to take out a loan to buy her a present. But it's not unreasonable to allow her to receive a proper Valentine's Day present.
Therefore, if you're single, let jealousy go and cope with it. Let the lovers carry on if they're broke for any reason. Spare them your pointless tirade. Everyone acting like a relationship expert by ignoring Valentine's Day needs to stop.
I've realized that ladies are similar to restaurants in that you can only walk into the ones you can afford.
